making a perfect reed

In my Professional Orchestra AU, Spock is a bassoonist. And because and I decided that glasses are hella sexy, here is bassoonist!Spock wearing reading glasses while he works on whittling a reed to *precisely* the right shape. He can see just fine for most things, but the glasses reduce his eye strain for working on his reeds.

Sometimes he throws reed-making get-togethers at his apartment in Presidio Heights for the reed players in the orchestra, including John Kyle (oboe), Saavik (oboe), and sometimes Gaila (clarinet).

You guys, I am completely and totally smitten with this Spock. It's not even funny how in love with this I am.
