It's been a few weeks since I was last on DA, and I have like a gazillion messages and it's scary!!

I really want to draw and soon I'll be digging my printer/scanner out of storage (me = lazy), and I want to post some stuff but also I have enormous amounts of KNITTING to do!!! I guess I'll post some photos of those and then OH YEAH I'm taking a drawing class this term. WOHOO artz!!! yeeahhh posting and hopefully I won't forget.

ohhhhh yeeeahhhh and i'm making a vampire willow corset for halloween

Oh boy, I've been really slacking here. Hello, watchers! I'm not dead, just busy and lazy.

Anyhow, the original reason I was going to update was to gush about V6. I know some people hate it, but already I can tell with just a little time, it's going to be so much faster, easier, and more reliable than V5, and I'm excessively pleased that non-subscribers get thumbnails now!!!

About the not posting in forever thing... I've mostly been knitting, not drawing, these days. I could post my more artistic knitwork here, what do you guys think?

you may have noticed the two sudden voyager fanfics .. these literally came out of nowhere!! well, except i've been watching voyager and blood fever, day of honor, and scientific method were just on. and paris/torres is my favorite obsession. so yah.

also: "take it all away" by cake would be a good songfic for something from tom's POV in day of honor

anyways, i've got another little ficlet in my head (the infamous "missing scene" from Drive), so here's a teaser:

Janeway leaned back in her chair and looked around the briefing room. "That's all I have. Commander?"

Chakotay shook his head. "No more questions here."

"Looks like your debriefing is over, Lieutenants." Janeway smiled. "It's a shame things didn't work out in the race, but we're glad you're safe. Dismissed."

"Actually, Captain," Paris cut in, "while we're here, there's one more ... um, order of business we wanted to bring up."

"Yes?"

B'Elanna took his hand and smiled as their eyes connected for a moment.

"We ... um, how soon can you marry us?"

- anniversary 1.5 gift for the Boy!! They look awesome! Photos when I send 'em so he doesn't get a sneak peek
- sweater for Lord Emsworth (teddy bear!): royal blue with grey/blue/white thin stripes, raglan sleeves because he has no shoulders. Pictures forthcoming!

Current projects:
- wine cozies for gifts .. will probably make many for all my friends turning 21!
- typing cuffs.. just something to support my hands and wrists, since I've been having some wrist pain recently.

Future projects:
- giant tall socks for me and/or Dr. Who scarf to use up scraps!!

- toeless socks (1 almost done... may change entirely to have a toe, or not.)
